Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the replies Homecare & Gillian and for the welcome Freckles. I agree with you Gillian, she is pretty scary!! definately gonna give her a body swerve. I was totally confused about the websites available & who represented who but you've made it clear now. There was a phone call for me this morning which I missed (at work) and an email I've just received from Bridget. I posted an enquiry and she got back saying I've passed your details onto the surgeon for the next available date. She followed it up with a 2nd email saying the next dates 23rd of June Wednesday and Friday afterward for surgery. Now I'm really confused what does that mean:huh2: If you hadn't said she was with Dr Chris I probably would have emailed her saying I only enquired what a cheek blah blah.

I know it can get confusing!!!!!!! I went with Bridget and she is really helpful!!!!

If she left a contact number just give her a ring! If not just e mail her back saying your unclear of the surgery date!!! Once you have that we can help you with the rest!!!

Thanks for getting back to me Sammy and Freckles!!!!

just wondering if anyone has any problems with salad? ????

Just think that if i haven't got my first fill for another month then going to have to start solids and keep it healthy!!!!

odge

i was surprised by the ammount of willpower the band actually gives you before your fills start to make a difference, look at flirty, i dont have restricition yet and due to being away i have missed 2 months of fills.

Youl be fine dont panic.

HI ALL well this time next week i will be in Belgium my surgery is next Wednesday and i am feeling very positive at the moment .I have told every one that i am having it done the reason be i am thinking it might help me stay on the straight and narrow until i get my restriction .How much time did any of you have off work as my job involves some lifting .I still cant find anyone being banded on the 3 June but i suppose there will be others when i get out there xxx suefee

sue

good on you it wont be long and all over and done and you will be on the loosing side, initially was only going to take a few days, however although you feel fine you get tired very easy at strange times so i would reccomend at least a week hoever that depends on wither you can dodge the lifting as i really would not be lifting for a couple of weeks.

Thank you for that, I'm sure I'll be blubbing for any help I can get. I've fantasised about being banded for years now but never actually looked in to it until now. This thread has helped me immensely already, it's given more answers than anything I've read anywhere else and everyones frankness has been an eye- opener. I know its not gonna be like in my fantasies where I get banded, the weight drops off me with ease and I turn into a wee honey in no time at all. Reading this thread has made me think realistically and helped in my decision to go ahead with it, the good results seem to out-weigh the bad days (one blog I read somewhere scared the bejeezus out of me and nearly damn-well put me off for life).

I managed to get in touch with Bridget and shes going to call back with a date, probably July 1st or there abouts now.

yes!!.i asked everyone else and no one else had it except me..its not the soreness of the op still, its where its sewn in to he muscle. it got to the point where i was thinking id have to go and have another op to loosen it.it hurt when i bent down, got up etc or any exertion..it lasted for about a month to 6 weeks and wasnt nice. my fill nurse said it is sewn in like a button and will loosen off with time and weight loss, and it ends up like a loose button..so i know its tight now, and its miserable, but it will go, i couldnt wear anything except very loose elasticated trousers as anything pressing on it or bending really twinged it. it was fine when i was sat still though..so if this is same as you..it will go, but may be good few weeks..x

Hi Gillian & Freckles, thanks for your replys was starting to get a bit worried thought port had flipped over or had an infection i emailed Fred but still waiting for reply, you both are doing really well great you have restriction i am going for third fill 8Th June hoping to get a bit of restriction then have none at the mo the weight loss has come to a stand still even tho im only having 1000 cals a day:smile::blush:

Hi to everyone especial the newbies this site has really got busy have to catch up with everyone hope your all doing ok:smile::blush:

a few of us have been with bridget.she organises it all with chris, she is nice and not pushy..you will have to organise your own reservation at the hotel (campanille vilvoorde is most convieneint and all here have used it) which is done in few mins online, also your flights which we all have to do, just remember that flights to brussels international are better than flights to charleroi(brusels south) we got really cheap flights to the latter but its a long way away and if you have a taxi it works out expensive. between the hosp and hotel you will need taxis and reception at the hotel will help you with this..the package that doc chris and frederik provide themselves include the taxis and transfers which does make it easier..i just found the communication a bit slow and went with bridget who arranged it all within an hour or so. cos when i had decided i wanted it yesterday! think most others on here have done the package though and are happy with their experience..one way or the other though..its surgery the same with dr chris whoever you book with. hes a top surgeon who has done 4000+ successfull ops. he does them day in day out. hosp is immaculate and staff brilliant..good luck!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
