Hi guys,

Last month 17th I underwent my VSG and it has been one month since. I cannot believe time went by so fast.

I visited my doctor yesterday and he suggested me to start consuming 2 tablets of 'Celebrate hair, Skin and Nails Capsules' from the 6th week onwards.

My pre-diet weight was 251lbs, on the surgery day I weighed 238 lbs and today after 1 month I weigh 228 lbs. I know there is not much of a weight loss compared to many who lose close to 20 pounds during the first month, but my doctor says to take it slow and is happy with my progress. He says I have to give it atleast 6-8 months time to see 55-60 lbs weight loss and not to take any stress and let my health take its course.

Has anyone taken this brand? I have had lot of hair fall before the surgery due to PCOS and hair fall is said to happen more from the 6th week onwards and I am freaking out. Does Celebrate Hair, Skin and Nails Capsules (consuming 2 tablets a day) for six months help in restoring one's hair?

I have not taken that particular product. I take 10,000 of Biotin for my hair every day, per my doc's instructions. From what I have read, not everyone experiences Hair loss, and for those that do, it is temporary, so some good news there.

ps. Congrats on your one month!

I have experienced hair loss and it's pretty frightening so the sooner you begin those Vitamins the better off you will be. I purchased that brand but my doctor doesn't allow swallowing capsules so I now take Biotin Vitamins and i also use Biotin Shampoo and conditioner and my hair is coming in nicely and no more hair found on my brush..

I am using a Biotin & collagen Shampoo by OGX. I'm not even one month post up, but my hair feels fuller and thicker. And my hairdresser says she sees lots of new hairs coming in. YAY.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
