Do you find that vomiting has become part of your post VSG life?

Seems that for the first year, as you try different foods, you tend to discover that your new stomach simply rejects foods that you used to eat regularly. Is this common for most of you?

No, I have only thrown up once...when I was 2 days post op and tried to eat a giant chewable vitamin. I'd call my dr to discuss this asap.

I got threw up after my surgery because its too much food and i have be careful to eat for me they NOW I haven't threw up if more food i will threw up!!

I have only vomited once and that was after eating too quickly. I am almost four months post-op and haven't found anything that disagrees with my stomach.

I'm a little over a month out and have experienced vomiting pretty constant since my sleeve on December 7th 2016. I to have wondered about this. Sometimes it's I realized I hadn't took my stomach pill at that time and others it didn't matter if I had or not. I feel if it's like trial and error as if learning what to and what not to eat and how much as well as how fast to eat.

What stomach pill are you talking about? I didn't get a stomach pill just wondering thanks.

Hope this isn't like when i had my lap band I would get stuck with everything except the bad food. This time i have vowed to eat slower and chew more.

I threw up tonight after dinner. I tried some turkey meatballs, and I didn't remember to follow the advice to "lubricate" them (mayo, margarine, gravy, etc). I also may have had one or two too many.

It's really amazing how unforgiving my sleeve is, but I'm learning to listen to her. Sometimes I get the message a bit too late.

The hardest part for me is separating my liquids and my food. When I start to feel sick my first impulse is still to take a great big swig of water like I used to in the old days. That's a big no-no.

I'm learning, slowly.
