Hi everyone,

I just got approval from BCBS of Illinois, HMO to go to a lap band consult at Loyola Hospital... What comes next, any info is greatly appreciate.

Also any information about Loyola would be greatly appreciated too. I am so excited, so I just want to make sure I don't miss any important information...

I wish everyone so much success... Always!!!

My son had surg years ago there, we live down around Peoria, and they sent us there, it was wonderful, its a teaching hospital so they alot of young interns, but everyone was so nice and they know what they are doing, Best of luck, Becky:clap2:

It seems to me that it differs from state to state as to what is required after the initial consult. I live in MA. and we are required to go to two WLS support groups, have a psych. eval., see a nutritionist, have a stress test, and a few other things. I would suggest you ask what the next step will be at the consult. I'm sure they can provide you with all of the information you need.

Good Luck!! Jenn

Hi All,

I just made my consult appointment at Loyola and it isn't until November 6th... I'm so disappointed that I have to wait so long and my beautiful life partner does not understand why I am so impatient.

Just wanted to vent...

Thanks,

Jacqui:phanvan
