I've been using Gold Standard. Their Extreme Milk chocolate tastes a lot like Nestles Quik, something I have enjoyed since I was a small boy.

Oh, I almost forgot... I just started using Fairlife milk, it has more Protein than regular milk, and the chocolate variety is really tasty. :)

Just FYI depending on ur insurance they may cover ur shakes. My insurance pays up to $500 a month for Protein shakes if u had Bariatric surgery. Check with them. I spent so much on ones I didn't like it was unreal I have two big tubs of mix that I don't like equal over $100 just for them and I won't touch them. Lol

After only 7 weeks the sweet Protein drink are losing their already limited appeal but I still have a shake or two a day.

Using mostly the unjury unflavored in 8oz of 1% milk or blending it into 4oz of raw juice and a cup of ice.

I love the Premier Protein ones in strawberry and chocolate. I warm the chocolate one up in the microwave and it tastes like hot chocolate. THEY ARE AWESOME! You can buy them at Walmart over in the pharmacy area.

Thanks I'm grabbing a case to try????

I found that after surgery a lot of the Protein shakes I liked were no longer for me.

I've had the best luck with 100 calorie muscle milk and clean unflavored whey Protein.

https://www.amazon.com/Clean-Label-Protein-Unflavored-Servings/dp/B019YWFHAW

It's a little pricey but is the closest I've found to truly being unflavored and mixes well. I was totally over the sweet stuff by about 3 days out so this was a life saver on full liquids. I added it to Soup, pudding, etc.

My Doctors nutritionist approved GNC lean shake 25. They fit the requirements and taste great. They have ready mixed and powder. Different flavor. After surgery to get more Protein in I'm going to see if using GENEPRO tasteless Protein and add it to shakes. I will be able to get my protein in. Hope this helps. Tastes better than premiere or muscle milk.

So my Dr. gave me a sample to taste its a Protein Drink Bariatric Advantage (Cookies & Cream).... Omg it's so disgusting! (to me...)

Please Lord somebody tell me they're better tasting Protein Drinks out there, I know there are plenty of brands.... I also know we all have different taste but I'm not a fan of tasting things. Is there anything around similar to Slim fast that taste good to me but this stuff is.... Blahhhh

I like Atkins creamy chocolate and strawberry flavors. Those are the only two I really like. I have to do some more tasting as well.

Hi all! I'm not a big fan of any of the Bariatric shakes at all. I've come across a brand called Vega that's vegan and is the most tasty to me. I add in collagen bone broth Protein by Dr Axe and it's simply delicious, fat and sugar free and is one the only brands that does not use soy or whey as their source of Protein. The added collagen helps with skin and hair issues as well as lubricates the joints for so many extra benefits.

I'm going to suggest the Syntrax along with everyone else! The Nectars are great (my fav was the pink grapefruit with a little salt...not a sweet person) and the matrix are super good! I ordered some for myself for Christmas and for my 14 year old son who is begging for Protein for working out. If you follow some of the Syntrax ambassadors on Instagram you can get 40% off your first order with a code.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
