Soft Protein Food Ideas?

What are/were some of your favorite soft Protein foods now or when you were at that beginning stage?

My doctor sends his patients home from the hospital on a "soft moist protein" stage.

I'm 1 week post-op and so far all I've eaten has been scrambled eggs and little mini meatballs made of just ground turkey with some light cheese inside. I need some ideas/suggestions/inspirations.

Well you need to be getting protein so I would say protein shakes, yogurt, and cottage cheese would be best bets.

For soft Proteins, I agree, cottage cheese, yogurt and the Protein shakes are great. My nutritionist said we need to get at least 60 grams of protein a day.

Also, you can try canned chicken and mix it with some no fat or low fat mayo and seasonings (chicken salad).... you can do the same with tunafish. Or you can bake some soft fish like tuna, salmon or tilapia... all great ways to get protein and they are nice soft meats.

I am on the pureed stage and have been eating non fat refried Beans with a teaspoon of light sour cream and a dash of hot sauce. I also like the non fat chicken salad. I have tried cottage cheese, non fat greek yogurt and Egg Beaters for Breakfast.
