Family dinner and Company Christmas dinner

Okay, so I would like to hear people's opinion on how they would deal with my upcoming situation.

On Dec 10th and 11th I have two dinners I am suppose to go to. Dec 10th is my company Christmas dinner and show. Dec 11th, my dad will be here and is taking everyone out to a buffet. I will still be on my liquid phase. I want to be around everyone but I don't think I will he able to eat anything and I won't be able to fake it. I am thinking about not going to either dinner. What would you do?

If you are trying to keep this a secret then go but tell them that your stomach is a bit off. Granted that is because 80% of it is gone but no one needs to know about that.

I would go to both and enjoy the company of the people (unless you really don't want to.) In the liquid stage you can always have soup. If on clear liquids, just have the broth and if on full liquids, ask the restaurant to puree it for you. You will not be able to consume much anyway. And you can have protein shake before you go to help with any desire to go off plan.

I eat out a lot and the first time was while on liquids. It wasn't a business dinner but if it had been, I would have gone. The first step in making lifelong adjustments.
