I was supposed to go home today, but yesterday was so nauseous with dry heaves that I couldn't get through the Water. Today is much better. May still go home but later tonight.

Keeping me another night due to the extreme nausea. Dry heaves are not fun. Surgeon said approximately half of all sleeve patients get this and they are not sure why. Have to do the liquid protocol again tomorrow before I can get released. Their liquid protocol includes drinking 30 cc med cup of Water every half hour and then move on to 60 cc every half hour until you can get 60 med cups in. Interesting but they are worried about dehydration first and foremost. Won't even going home until that is done.
