I love Peanut Butter. I cannot underscore the word Love Enough I mean if I could marry it I would. I am starting my next stage post-surgery that includes full liquids my question is the following. Has anyone tried PB2. It is a powdered Peanut Butter that has 85% less fat lower sugars. It is fantastic to use in yogurts and or Protein shakes. I use half of the recommended serving size which is 2 tablespoons I have attached a basic picture of the nutritional breakdown and was wondering if anyone can give me their comments on this product and its healthiness if eaten within moderation for those of you that have not tried this peanut butter substitute it comes in plain and peanut butter and chocolate flavored and all I can tell you is it is incredible. You can purchase this at GNC however I recently found it at Walmart in the peanut butter aisle.post-300581-14745006509315_thumb.jpg

It is delicious, but it does have a decent amount of sugar in it. You can buy plain powdered Peanut Butter that is a little more nutritionally sound, but really for the amount that you are eating, it's fine. I have some of the chocolate PB2 in my pantry, I use it to make chia pudding. (I am pre-op)

Yes, it has been around quite awhile and many posts on it. You can add it to shakes also. They have a chocolate version also, and I have bought it at Walmart a couple years.

Can you share the pudding recipe and carb count please

I use a 100% pure peanut powder because PB2 has added sugar, and I don't eat things with added sugar. You can find pure peanut powder on Amazon and in quality grocery stores and health food stores.

I buy that brand at my local grocery store.

@@cbonet I take two tablespoons of chia seeds and mix them with 1/4 cup of a Premier Protein shake (whatever flavor you like) and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. That has 11 carbs, 14 grams of Protein, and 160 calories (it is my dessert :) ) Adding 2 tablespoons of chocolate PB2 adds 6 carbs, 45 calories, and 4 grams of protein.

I use the Peanut Butter & co brand because it has a little less added sugar and I like it. Only when I really really need to satisfy fix.

I love PB2 but you can also get a Jiff powdered Peanut Butter from Amazon that has no sugar.

Buckle up ...

They also have chocolate pb, strawberry pb, grape pb, and banana pb. That stuff is fantastic! I mix it in every shake I drink.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
