Best foods to introduce first?

This Saturday, Sept 17th, I will be 30 days post op and ready to introduce food back into my diet. Does anyone have recommendations about the best foods to introduce first?

Thanks much!

What does your surgeon recommend? Mine suggested mashed potatoes and ff gravy, Greek yogurt, refried beans... The potatoes were odd, but she had me use boxed, add protein' powder and I was only allowed 1-3 Tb per day with more gravy than potato. :)

Solids or soft pureed on your plan?

I started with Tilipia. Did fine with 2 oz. Solids don't seem to take as much as the purees to hit the satisfied point.

I lived on drinkable yogurt, Fage greek yogurt and premier Protein the first 2-3 weeks. When I moved to soft foods, I really enjoyed 1 or 2oz of salmon sashimi. It's so soft and flavorful and goes down comfortably. The ricotta bake is delicious - search for the recipe in the search bar on this site. Well-chewed cheese sticks are great too :)
