Impending surgery date of December

My surgery is scheduled for December 7th. I work two jobs...I told my full time job about my surgery last week. I get FMLA and disability benefits from there, so everything is set in place.

I am really nervous to tell my PT job about the surgery. I work in retail and I will be out for the majority of December...when we are the busiest!

I met my deductible for this year and that is why it is really important that I have my surgery by the end of the year.

Any suggestions on how I tell them would be appreciated! TIA!

    I got my surgery date last Thursday... Which was only 2 days after I submitted my paperwork. Yayyyy Dec 28th
