@suzzz well he informed verbally as a general rule .i have an appointment on Saturday to ask this questions . I had my surgery with a general surgeon not a specialized clinic for obesity surgery .

I am still surprised you weren't better prepared for post op but I hope you can get the info you want and the support you need going forward from him. Post op diets vary quite a lot among patients.
