Well done on the loss!! I've only lost 12lbs so far hoping to get another 5 off before surgery. This morning I had no appetite at all but now I'm very hungry about to have my salad lunch. Thinking about having a bar or shake for dinner. I am so tired thought I'd get over that by now. We have an added bonus that we have to move out of house into a flat for a month due to house flood so battling that too at the moment.

My surgery is at 1.00pm UK time so 8am US time. Tammy if I drink anymore Water I'm going to float away. I'm about 3-3.5Ls everyday. My meals are 1 weetabix, 2 small pieces of fruit, a salad lunch with 50g Protein and dinner is 50g protein either a small potato or 2 tablespoons of rice and veg. I'm taking my Vitamins as well. Today I've added some nuts because I'm just drained. Guess my lady free appearing doesng help with the tiredness.

So...I added unflavored Protein powder to Jello I made the other day. It didn't turn out that hot, doesn't taste bad just didn't dissolve and left clumps and a sludge at the bottom of the bowl. A friend of mine who also had sleeve told me to try adding the Protein powder to the cold Water because the powder gets a weird consistency with Water over 140 degrees. Tried that tonight...so far so good. I will know in the morning if my Jello turned out perfect.

Had final meeting with surgeon today, pre-admissions done, and labs drawn. All set for the 4th!!!

Now, I've got a question: I want to make up some sugar free jello and pudding with Protein Powder added to them - does anyone know if I can freeze Protein powder like that?? And what about broth?

I want to try to have as much prep done beforehand as I can. I'd love to hear any suggestions ^_^

Looking forward to seeing how it came out...please share the results ;)

Jello came out great!!!! Actually I used my Blender Bottle to mix the cold water and a half a scoop of protein powder no weird taste of anything.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
