6 day of pre op and going crazy

I can only do protein shakes water and broth. I've been tempted to cheat so many times. I see all these people who got to eat and I wonder why I can't. Anyone else just doing liquid

Day 5 for me.... Just clear liquids for me until Friday, then I move to protein shakes... It's power aide 0, broth and sugar free Popsicles be happy you can have the shakes! Lol....

the liquid part is the hardest part! I would imagine harder preop - but plenty hard post op too.

hang in there. I don't know what criteria doctors use to make that call - but you want to follow their instructions to have a safe surgery.

I start tomorrow. 1 week of full liquids pre-op.

I'm on Protein shakes too for two weeks (this is middle of day four for me). My doctor said I could add some low-sodium chicken broth if I needed to. Day one was hard - hence the looking into broth. But mostly I'm doing okay except today I have been craving a soft pretzel like no one's business. I just keep telling myself to focus and stay on track.

Good luck!
