Any Type 1 Diabetics that are pregnant or have been?

Hello! I need advice. I have been a type 1 diabetic since I was 16 on insulin. Since my gastric sleeve last summer I haven't taken any insulin (crazy right). I'm 8 weeks pregnant and taking long acting insulin at night only to wake up at 48-70 blood sugars. And then having to treat them with sugar (makes me so sick). Anyone have a similar story to share or who takes insulin?!? Thanks!

My daughter is t1d, I am the one getting the sleeve. But I'd say your background insulin is a bit too high. Try lowering your basal. Congrats on the pregnancy.
