My Dr said aim 60-80 for Protein. My blood pressure was kind of low actually at the Dr's 2 weeks ago. He said if I felt dizzy to call. This was my PCP not surgeon.

Do you drink the 60 gm shake all at once? You may need to have additional meals with protein. Your BP may be an issue too - I'd be sure to follow up with your surgeon on that.

@@traceygirl Try having small servings of protein every 3 hours - 5 to 6 times a day. That could be tuna, chicken salad, hummus, greek yogurt, baked fish, salmon, protein shake, cottage cheese, deli meat etc. Are you on soft foods or can you have anything?

Be sure to drink fluids (wait the amount of time your plan suggests after meals). You may want to add some healthy fats (avocado) and carbs (fruits & veggies) to your diet. Check in with your Nutritionist for some guidance too.
