tips on getting in the water after surgery!

Help!

I'm about six weeks out of gastric sleeve surgery and am having the most difficult time getting my Water in.

I have been keeping a bladder infection, unfortunately. It's hard enough for me to get all my Protein in but

the water is exceptionally difficult. I do not drink anything else...no coffee, tea or soda's...only water..and

I'm down to 1 Protein Drink a day.

I do keep the bottled water with me at all times but I completely forget. I also forget to eat because I'm

no longer hungry.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Nancy

  • Set a timer for every 15 minutes or so and drink. Set an alarm for eating. I am 3 weeks out and have no desire for anything so I have to make myself too.

Try adding some flavor to your water, that always helps me. I like adding frozen strawberries

@ Try other fluids - crystal light, sugar free popsicles, infused water, broth, etc. It all counts towards your water intake.
