Imagine the ensuing uproar if a few guys had posted such sexist generalisations about women...

@@KindaFamiliar

Awww ... its not a generalisation if its true

Do you deny that you enjoy food, sport, sex, beer and tv?

You are an aussie! We live for this stuff!

As it happens, I'd happily and successfully survive without all of them...

I do not enjoy food...

I do not enjoy beer...

TV serves a purpose...

Sport is similar...

Sex is great...

But it's not what I live for...

As there also appears to be a particular order that these should go in, I apologise if I've not got them listed correctly...

So with all that in mind - Yes, the statements made in the preceding posts are certainly sexist generalisations...

Ok ok.... i apologize, can it be changed to many men that i know? ????

I respect that you could survive without all of them... i certainly couldn't lol

If it was done in fun, like we did it, that wouldn't bother me at all.

I haven't even been sleeved yet and always retain/gain 3-5 lbs beforehand, am starving the week before, and then quickly lose it by day 2 of my cycle.

I wasn't aware of the pattern until I did WW a decade ago and had weekly weigh-ins. After six months I noticed the trend of gain/loss, and ever since I paid attention and have seen it's consistent.

Diuretics and guzzling Water don't help me, either, but having ANY excessive sodium bumps up the scale even further! Ugh.

I believe bc of my weight I don't get my periods have not had one since April and that was on the 10 day pills to make me have one. I am sure after I lose weight it will come back and I'm sure that day will look like a shark took a bite out of me haha... But Im sure it's normal bc the fact our body is going through changes :)

That happens to women who haven't had surgery. They might even gain, due to Water retention. It's very common. Try to not let it stress you.

I've been stuck at the same weight for 7 days due to these reasons. I'm expecting a whoosh soon.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
