Reshape balloon 6 month diet/exercise insurance approval period

I just found out that the reshape dual balloon can actually qualify as the 6 month medically supervised diet program requirements for insurance approval of the sleeve or bypass. Has anyone had any experience with this device? I'm interested but it was just FDA approved last summer apparently so there's not a ton of information out there on it.
My problem, like many others on here that fall under BMI of 40 is that I'm quite certain that my BMI will be too low after 6 months to even qualify any longer for the surgery but it's a tempting idea.
