After day 3 it really gets easier. It's hilarious because once you have the surgery, u laugh at how you were dying to slurp up every bit of broth, Protein shake, etc. And now u can take like 3 sips haha. Don't cheat, just push forward. Drink a lot of Water. I did my pre op and quit smoking at the same time. It's possible, just push through the pain

Hi I am on day 7 optifast...nothing else...I am not hungry or if I feel a pang of hunger I drink water with sugar free cordial..I know this sounds ridiculous but I have more energy than I can remember in a long time...I might just be odd..my surgery is next tuesday 19 July 16 in Australia

My surgery is July 25th, so a week later. )
