    Salad

I am about 7 weeks out and i started eating salad this week. It is wonderful and its like the only thing i eat that i dont have a weird feeling after. However, i also feel like i can eat a lot more of it than anything else, maybe a cup of greens. I wanted to see if you guys think its normal or that it wont stretch my stomach if im having more than the normal 2 ounces. Thanks!! Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

  4. So I'm 6 months out and I've gone between chronic diarrhea and chronic constipation since surgery. Recently, my poop is black.. like jet black. Anyone have anything similar that can shed some light on what might be wrong or if this is normal. Sorry for the gross topic. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

    I want to get drunk.

Oops! Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App You're fine to drink 2 weeks before surgery. A lot of ppl drink the night before surgery lol! I'm not one of them, but I don't think 2 weeks beforehand is any big deal. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App Many of us are on a pre-op diet 2 weeks before surgery - to reduce the size of our livers - it very well could be a big deal for some. Anyone who drinks the night before surgery should re-consider getting surgery in the first place. It's 2 weeks, not the night before Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

    I want to get drunk.

A lot of people text and drive/smoke crack/don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom/eat off the floor/run red lights/lie, cheat and steal/etc. I'm not one of them nor can I imagine telling someone it's ok for them to do it either. Huh? I didn't tell him to, I just said people do because it's true. I didn't, and I wouldn't, which I stated. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

  11. My son's grandfather said "i would guess you've lost at least 12 pounds"... when I had lost 100 and hadn't seen him the whole time. I just said "yep! More than 12 is correct!" Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

You know you lost weight when

The whole crossing your legs thing is weird. I don't remember ever crossing my legs, even when I wouldn't have been considered obese... it's the weirdest feeling in the world to me lol. Anyone else?? Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

    Finally thinking surgery

I'm 30 years old, I was 291 lbs before surgery. I never really thought I could lose the weight. I'm now 186 lbs and still losing. I was sleeved 3/28/16, so 6 months and a few days ago.. have lost 104 lbs so far. Good luck to you! Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

  17. So I'm about 6 months out and recently I've been having serious cravings, mostly for sugar or some sort of snack, like popcorn at night. The cravings are mostly at night and they are really severe. I drink Crystal light daily and I'm wondering if the fake sugar is giving me a sugar craving. I also have sugar free syrup in my coffee. Idk if it has anything to do with it, but I need help. Has anyone else struggled with this? Prior to surgery I never cared about sugar, or Snacks like chips or popcorn... I literally didn't like them. Now it's basically all I think about, all night. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this or even just if you've been through it, please respond Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

    Cravings

Thank you guys. The honey moon is definitely ending and I can see how people gain weight back. Any suggestions are helpful. I think I may get rid of the Crystal light and see how that goes. I don't do Protein shakes anymore but I might consider it if it becomes a problem Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
