Awesome! Trust me when I say to stay off the scale for a week! Same happened to me and next day I gained and was back above. It sucked lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Oh my God that's my worst nightmare! I keep thinking how I want to eat perfect today so that I don't randomly go up 2 ounces and totally shatter my dream right now lol.. unfortunately I'm addicted to the scale so I'm sure I'll be back on it tomorrow morning Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Taste buds..
Also, when I was first post op, anything kind of sweet was waaay too sweet, like a sugar free Powerade was way too sweet. That's gone away, hence the sugar addiction lol Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Taste buds..
Yes.. my taste buds have drastically changed.. some for the good and some for the bad. . I never cared about sweets before and now that's what I crave. But also, I used to love sodas or carbonated things and I've had small sips and it's so gross now. So yeah, things change and you'll have to adjust.. then once you find something you like, you'll get sick of it.. haha. It's all worth it tho Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Yogurt
Someone else already said it but oikos triple zero is really good and provides what you need. Also, I pretty much have an egg with vegetables every morning for breakfast Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Vegas, regrets and a NSV
I disagree. I haven't eaten more than 600 calories in a day and I haven't had any issues. I'm 5 months out and my surgeon and nut say 600 a day right now is what I should be eating. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Who else got sleeved on the 28th of march?
I'm down to 200. I have been under 210 for like a month and am "patiently" waiting to get to onderland.. literally I just need to lose an ounce lol!!! Anyway, I've never felt so good about myself and I've hacent been this small since I was 15 and I turned 30 last week Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Really Regretting it.
When I was that far out, I could literally only have Clear liquids.. maybe those are too much for u? Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

How many calories are you taking in?
At a month out I was eating between 200 and 400 calories per day.. try and make all of them Protein and get in your liquids.. I know some people say they're eating a lot more but it's actually what my surgeon recommended and it worked for me Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

How do you feel after? Are you hungry? Does food mess w/ your head?
I see pizza commercials and think I'd really like that, and that's my extent of head hunger. I'm 5 mos out and I still have bigger eyes than I do a stomach. I do get hungry just like before surgery..sometimes I eat and sometimes I don't. I really think about if I'm just bored or feeling uncomfortable, or if I'm legit hungry. It's not a huge issue. I log all my food so I have a good idea if I'm low on my nutrients or not. Hunger isn't a big issue like it used to be, because even when I do have an unplanned snack, I can't eat very much so I can't go into that sabotage mode. Before I was sleeved and I'd be doing well with eating or dieting, if I gave into temptation, I would eat a whole pizza or some awful meal.. then have huge regrets and feel like it was all over. Now I might have a string cheese when I probably don't need it, but I don't feel like I just ruined all my progress, because I havent. I hope this helps. Smoking
My Dr said I had to not smoke for 2 weeks before surgery, so I basically told myself I could do anything for 2 weeks. Sometime in that process I realized I didn't want to have to go through quitting again and decided to stick with it. I truly hated not smoking for the better half of 3 months but I'm glad I stuck with it. I used toothpicks to get past the hard times in the car. You'll be better for it, but just remember just because quitting feels bad, it doesn't mean it is bad Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Questions about recovery time?
Yes you will be totally fine. That's plenty of time to heal. I was back to work in 7 days. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

Would you do it again?
I would def do it again. If throwing up is your biggest worry, then you'll be fine. I haven't thrown up. Surgery makes you nauseated and dry heave but nothing more happened to me. Also, 2 months is plenty of time. I took 7 days. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
