Acid Reflux after band removal

Anyone else have this? Did it go away? I had reflux from my band being too tight, it went away once all of the fluid was removed but now that the band is gone, I have been having awful reflux

No but I had my band unfilled a couple of months ago, and I never had reflux but now I do. I was checked for erosion and my band was perfect, everything looked good.

6 days post op... still have some reflux but its not as bad as the worst was when the band was in. Did you mention this to your surgeon? Maybe they will put you on something for it.

They just said to use OTC stuff. Thanks. Glad it's not as bad as when you had your band in.
