So I'm taking a chance it's been almost 2 weeks 12 days post op. And I've done the puréed stage and I'm ready to taste some other stuff but very little at a time. I just want to taste! Pimento cheese on a wheat thin.. Don't worry I'm chewing it up very much before I Swallow.

Okay, thank you for the information. Yes, I'm chewing and chewing before swallowing. Have you eaten chicken yet? I just put some chicken in the crockpot hoping I might be able to have a little taste.. I'm week 2

I'm there weeks out, and chicken cooked in the crockpot is great! I just have to really chew and eat slow. I love pimento cheese and tried it, but I think it had too much fat because it didn't agree with my stomach. Good Luck!
