I can think of MUCH more fun things, but I wouldn't want our more "delicate" forum members to start twitching.

I am sitting in bed too, with my coffee, My Mac, iPad and Android phone. It is morning here now.

I watched Gigolos last night, and had few laughs .....

I have a King Size bed, all comfy and cozy :)

Morning guys. In SUPERKING bed, surrounded by menagerie (including husband in that) and need another cuppa. Hang on..... just going to make it...............that's better-full mug. Does watching BBC Breakfast news count as 'educational' cos that's on the box at the moment.

Weird, I know, but I tend to reply to the COMMENT not to the USER.

I don't know if it is odd or not, but I do the exact opposite. If I find the user to be a total tool, Soup sandwich, drama queen, or mouth breather; I don't bother with a reply. If I have any experience or applicable knowledge AND I deem the person worthy of any effort on my part, only then will I bother with a reply.

This is what I need to do from here out. I need to make a list. My memory sucks. :D

Hey VIPs, I'm less than 2 weeks from WLS and I say please please PLEASE don't treat me like a delicate flower if I post something dumb. These past 6 months on here have been amazingly helpful and entertaining. Just one favor, don't be too mean right now. I'm on day 3 of my pre op diet and I'm pretty sure I'm capable of murder. Lol

@@LipstickLady I dunno, with so many people using mobile devices they can't really tell much about the person anyway (no tickers, signatures, etc).... I assume people call me names based on my content and not on my "stats" or screen name. :)

It's a very old saying. Only a fool would try making a sandwich out of Soup since the bread would get soggy and the soup would run everywhere. Soup Sandwich = crazy person, fool, idiot, ignoramus, etc...

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

      Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
