Okay, hello everyone! I'm Kiera, I'm 20 years old (turning 21 in September) and from England! I've been seeking WLS since around 2010, but have struggled with genetic weight problems since I was around 5 years old, I'm incredibly excited that after so many years, I'm finally going to have the tool to help me better myself and finally look forward to the future!

This is mostly an introduction as I have only just signed up for this app but I am really excited to get to know some people in the same boat as me and find out more information.

My surgery date is booked for June 17th, I can't wait! But of course, with the excitement comes the nerves! I watched my mother go through her gastric sleeve journey, so at least I have someone else in the family who understands the process.

I was just wondering if anyone else had any anxiety or fears before surgery and if so, how you handle it?

Hey, I'm new to this site and i just came across your post. My surgery isnt for another three months but I'm starting to get nervous. How are you dealing with it? Has the two week pre-sugery been difficult?

ahh, late reply! but the nerves followed me all the way to the surgery date but it had been manageable!
