I'ts surreal. i think on some level i never thought i would get this far. Not that i expected to fail at the diet, on not get approved, but I'm one of those expect the worse type people. Needless to say its been an interesting ride. Sleeved 6/1, and amazingly feeling like super man (with meds of course). I left the hospital the next day, i could not sleep or get comfortable and wanted to be in my own space. Good decision thus far, im hiding from the scale so i will be surprised when i go get my staples out on 6/10 (hoping for onderland). so nothing to report just a happy sleever.

My surgery is the 15th and I'm on my pre op two week diet and it's just giving me really bad headaches . I've always had headaches because of my sleep apnea but non like this. It's day five and it's just terrible and I had like 4 unsalted peanuts even thought I'm not suppose to but I felt like my head was hurting because I needed food or something . I wish I could take excedrin .. How is eating during stage 2 for the hospital ?

My sleeve was on 6/1 also -- feeling good also. Trying to get all the Protein in is difficult -- but physically the recovery is much easier than I thought. Where do you have staples? I have no real hunger either -- very strange feeling......

Right but what I found is as long as I don't get bored I'm fine so far I've had popsicles flavored Water Powerade Zero clear Soup from the Korean store beef stew made with real broth broth only of course and today my mom made homemade chicken Soup so the broth from that was flavorful and amazing so I don't really feel like I'm missing anything yet. I am looking forward to my full liquids starting on Friday mostly for the cream of wheat and runny oatmeal

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
