Just a bump to say I spoke to my surgeon today and he said I will be cleared to swim after my first pre-op visit which is about 4-5 days after surgery. Nothing too strenuous for 2 weeks, but I'm fine

Apply tegraderm, we use it in the hospitals to cover your if, almost reminds you of Saran Wrap but sticky on one side. You can get it at cvs, Walgreens, Walmart, target etc . I'm going to myrtle beach

I was allowed to swim once the glue/adhesive was completely gone from my incisions. I want to say that took 2-3 weeks. Edited- can't spell today!
Adding this to the list of many questions I'll ask my surgical team when I see them in 2 weeks but curious to hear from all of you as well: how soon after surgery were you permitted to swim? I'll be at a resort 3 weeks after surgery and was looking forward to the pool but suddenly realized....I might just be dipping my toes !
