  1. Check out the link a fellow sleeper posted. It's pretty accurate ! I always wondered the same thing when I was newly sleeved too!
  2. Not too far off according to the link you shared. My starting weight was 270 and I am now 195 so according to the link I am 15 lbs above weightloss for my starting weight woooo
  3. What's your average weightloss for 6 months?7-8-9 months etc . In a few days I will be 6months post op and -75lbs down since surgery. Wondering if my weightloss has been average? Fast? Just trying to compare to your journey as well to see what the average weightloss should be ! Thanks!

  7. Aw thanks everybody! We are so excited! He waited till after my surgery almost 2 months after to propose so he could do it on vacation , my first time being able to enjoy my summer without pain. So that was great timing. I was 32 lbs down when he asked and feeling so much healthier . Glad he waited to do it now than before surgery
  8. Guys! I got engaged while on vacation! I had to share my excitement! I also am in the 230s again! Ahhhhhh what a great week!
  9. I wouldn't, it'll probably hurt you. Too early. Your main focus always should be protein protein protein. These early stages are very important for getting protein in, your healing and your body is getting very little compared to before. Make that your main focus and try it down the road.
  10. Awkward hmmmm...probably constant protein farts :-P ....nothing has been really akward...but people who don't know me ask well why didn't you just work out with a trainer first ? No crap like I didn't try that and everything else under the sun. Makes me wanna punch someone . Cause weightloss surgery is totally an easy way out says NO ONE who is going through it .
  11. Totally normal! It's the dreaded stall. I lost 11 lbs my first week...2nd week NOTHING. I WENT UP AND DOWN 1lb didn't lose until week 3... I'm almost to week 4 and down 21 lbs.
  12. So far I'm at 21 lbs! Wooo! Wednesday 7/27/16 will be exactly my 1 month post op! Hoping to lose a few more by then. I started at 270--- now I'm 249! What did you lose? I can now got back into American eagle jeans! I was so happy when I slipped these babies on yesterday!
  13. I start puréed food tomorrow, suggestions appreciated !
  14. My low bs episodes feel different now than they did when I had a normal stomach FYI
  15. Sounds like low blood sugar, this happens to me. I was sweating, shaking, collapsed on the floor. So now I carry tic tacs in my purse as a back up but I always try to carry a container of Powerade WITH sugar, I drink 2-5 oz and I feel back to normal. Try to split your protein up and have some in the beginning middle and end of day so you can keep your blood sugar consistent. Helped me so much!
  16. Popsicle ******and more Water before bed****** I also do a cup of milk and 5 oz Powerade if I feel my blood sugar going down
  17. It's no joke a full time job, I'm 2 & 1/2 weeks weeks out and I have to set alarms on my phone to remind me to get protein in and drink. It was hard for me the first two weeks although I managed but it's getting a lot easier! My stomach is handling more liquids. Then it was before . Don't get me wrong it's still a chore but it's getting easier. Just aim for high protein. I usually do a scoop of 30 gm protein drink with 5oz water in the morning and night.. 4 oz cottage cheese 13 gm protein , zero calorie ice cold vitamin water made with trivia is a life saver..I love the strawberry lemonade one. It's not acidic tasting . I carry water with me 24 hour and drink. Drink drink even if I'm not thirsty I make myself go through a 20oz vit water, 16 oz water, plus whatever I mix in to my protein drinks , posix le and more after before bed. It's literally a full time job....it'll pay off
  18. Ooh good suggestion about puréed meat in tomato soup! I'm obsessed with my tom soup right now being on full liquids, I'm getting it at Panera (it's heavenly) I was thinking mannnn I don't want to ever touch broth again I'm so sick of it from my first few weeks post op, I really didn't wanna put it in meat and purée it, but awesome suggestion, I may even try some cheese soup :-P
  19. I'm only weighing in Sunday's for my logs but still lol I'm not trying to obsess, I made this post because I wanted to make sure this was normal, that it wasn't me making a mistake etc here's my log ins for 1x a week. But yes for sure I am not gonna get tripped up on the # I started working out this week and Ofcourse I stopped losing lol hopefully my body catches up with the changes and I'll start losing again soon I have a vacation in August :-P
  20. AKA, they make you fart. And that is a fart you shouldn't trust. Yup Found that out the hard way already
  21. I am doing actually really well! My doctor said above average . I am not craving it , it's more out of Curiosity since I'm so much in the early stages I wonder what works for people in the future thanks for the suggestions ! A trail mix would be good!
  22. When did you have your surgery? When did you notice your stall? I will do measurements more so when I start weight lifting again cause that's when you gain muscles but lose inches. Right now I'm just walking so it's either Water weight or sodium from soups, something idk! :-|
  23. I'm exactly 2 weeks post op and during this time I lost 16 lbs, but since Wednesday I've weighed 254 lbs (I usually weigh myself wed and Sunday and log it in my journal) I was cleared to work out so I've done 30 mins on the arc Trainor (it's like an elliptical) and walking around my neighbor hood etc. Been moving moving moving . I am getting plenty of fluids in and I get 75-80 GM protein in. I'm following my plan I just don't know what's happening or what I'm doing wrong. I'm not drinking sugary drinks I only have water, milk every few days, water, protein shakes, yogurt which is 0 everything, and now I'm on full soups I'll do tomato from Panera bread etc. maybe it's sodium from the soups? Is this normal? I know I already lost a significant amount which I wouldn't have been able to accomplish in a week let alone a month on my own but it bums me out to see that the scale hasn't moved in almost a week.
