Need to post

I was sleeved on 5/10....hw 200, sw 187, cw 177

I am feeling good and just wanted to post some pics. I was sleeved in Tijuana by Dr Ortiz and am grateful for this "reboot" to my body! I begin puréed food today and am in the midst of a move about 50 miles away-gotta keep it crazy, right?! I will probably stick mostly to shakes cuz I can't think about another thing.

Btw-one of my main reasons for wanting this is that a disease called transverse myelitis hit me 2.5 years ago and the chronic nerve pain left me quite sedentary. Nothing like a spinal cord injury to thrust u into the reality that our health should not be taken for granted! This is me taking some power back.

Blessings to all of you courageous people doing this with me.

I'm having surgery in Tijuana on Sept 5th! My best friend had it there 3 months ago and she is already down about 60 pounds! I'm scared of so many things though...going under anesthesia, possible bleeding complications, etc.

I tend to be an anxious person so that isn't helping things lol. I'm glad to see you also had a successful experience! Good luck to you!!!
