I am hoping to be banded soon and was just curious how bad the needle pain is with fills? Its funny because I am not afraid of the surgery or giving blood but straight needles going into my stomach kind of freak me out. So in your opinion, how bad does it hurt when they stick you and how long does it take for the actual injection? Thanks!

My port is very close to the skin as I had a tummy tuck 1.5 years prior to this surgery. I guess mine may be easier to access as I don't have much tissue over my port.

My first fill was under fluro... a bit of discomfort at first but it was something different. I did get a spray of some kind of numbing agent for about 20-30 seconds before the Dr. stuck me.

I just got my second fill last week and other than a bit of pressure, I didn't even feel the needle. It was great!!!
