Does anyone know if Bassetts chewable Multivitamins are good enough for sleevers?

I'm two weeks away from the big day and stocking up. I'm a Brit actually living in Singapore but as there is no support here, I hope you don't mind me following the Brit sleevers group.

I'm getting a friend to bring me any stuff I need from the UK (Boots/ Holland & Barrett). Is there anything else I need to stock up on ?

Thanks for your advice.

I use the Centrum chewable Multivitamins, sorry I don't know about the Bassetts ones are OK. I don't buy anything else particularly special to be honest.

Good luck with your surgery and let us know how things are going for you ????

I was "done" on We'd. The first day was rough but I've been fine since. I'm having no probe with getting the liquids in but hate the Protein shakes. Anyone found a nice one ? Or other way to get Protein in the first stage. I am hungry though and really missing food. I know it's probably head hunger and acid reflux but I can't wait to get to the soft food phase so I can have a bit more.

I'm hating the Protein shakes. Is it possible to get your 60g of Protein in when you move to real food without boosting with Protein Shakes or Protein powder. I can't stand either. I'm concerned about the quantity of meat eggs you can manage. Do any of you not touch shakes etc and have still lost weight ?

Hey all, Holland and Barratt do a standard chocolate milk and egg Protein that is the best one I've found. I absolutely hate hate hate the taste of sweeteners and this one doesn't taste like that at all. Even better, mix it with a teaspoon of raw cacao powder (full of antioxidants), a tablespoon of Peanut Butter powder (low in calories and ups your Protein even further), a few slices of frozen banana (great for the potassium levels) and finished with almond milk (antioxidants) and that, my bariatric friends, is a delicious chunky monkey milkshake!! Does not taste like crappy protein shakes, tastes like a treat - gives you a sweet hit without any sugar or sweetener. A great way to get in your Protein and up your calories a little during those all important first few weeks!

My NUT told me to make my own Protein Shake so I'm using Crusha which is sugar free, Almond milk and Protein Powder. OMG it's amazing!! The vanilla Crusha tastes like vanilla ice cream!!

Ooh @@facebro29 I love Crusha! I didn't know what was sugar free. I'm going to try the strawberry one...

Yes it's lush. Some of them aren't sugar free but the ones I bought are from Asda and Tesco which are sugar free.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
