The cuisinart ice cream maker is really easy to use. Just keep the tub in the freezer for 24 hours first. The tub goes in the machine and then there is a paddle that goes in the tub and the lid on top. Turn it on for 20 minutes and you have ice cream.

Today I used 1 c half and half, 2 c almond milk, 1/2 cup stevia in the raw, 2 eggs, 3 scoops Protein powder, mint extract, and green food color. Im going to add dark chocolate chips once it has firmed up in the machine. Be sure to taste it before you put it in the machine so that you can adjust the taste if you wish. I almost forgot the stevia. Also make sure you get peppermint extract. I have mint extract which is spearmint. I think I would have liked the peppermint better. It looks pretty good so hopefully it will taste good.

Good Luck on your experimenting.

I tried the Halo and really didn't like it. It could be that it was too old in the store. Kind of tasted like it had froze, unfroze, refrozen, etc. That experience is what led me to start developing my own recipes. It is also a lot cheaper to make your own if you have the machine.

I just found out that Herrell's Ice cream ships to you, you have to get a minimum of 4 pints. it comes in dry ice

-they have several flavours. The Peanut Butter ice cream is fantastic, it doesn't seem like a no sugar product and it's

120 calories for three scoops. yum...

I made a basic vanilla ice cream today. It was delicious!

I don't have a problem with Arctic Zero. I eat the ones with only 5g of sugar per serving. I have many more issues with lactose and since it's lactose free, it works for me. However, my favorite "ice cream" is mixing nonfat greek yogurt with frozen blueberries and stevia. The frozen blueberries turn the yogurt into a gelato sort of consistency. It's freaking delicious.

I think honestly that's just how the Halo brand tastes IMO lol.

Have you looked into the Yasso Greek yogurt bars? They are still a special occasion treat because they have added sugars, but they are only 100 calories a bar for the ones not dipped in chocolate. They have them at Walmart and it’s Greek yogurt so they have 5G Protein. They have mint chocolate chip, cookie dough and sea salt & caramel. Not sure what phase you are in or whether they fit i to your calorie budget but they do taste pretty good.

Never seen a poppable? Maybe it just hasn’t made its way to Walmart yet. I will check other stores for it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
