BCBS of TN sleevers out there?

Hey Everyone! I am super excited that as of yesterday, all my paperwork/med hx and all things required by my insurance (BCBS of TN) have been completed! I am using Dr. Woodman and dropped all my things off at the office yesterday!! They said that they will review it, and if it is all complete, they will submit it to insurance for approval. How long was the timeline for you guys (in my situation) from this point---to approval--to the actual date of surgery?? I am on break from school (in between classes for school) and have some time off coming up with work as well..........was hoping that the timing will work......... How long was it for you guys?

I received a letter in the mail, I was petrified of opening it. I think I looked at it for 30 minutes before I opened it... Thank God it said medically necessary......

I'm using Dr Woodman too. I turned my paperwork on March 15th. They said the following Friday they will submit. ( it takes them about a week to go through and make sure they have everything together) They actually turned it in a day earlier and I had a answer the following Tuesday. I have had my blood, EKG, Abdominal Ultrasound and this Friday I'll have the EGD. Then the week of the 18th of April I have an appointment with the surgeon for a 3 hrs class and then that day I will get a surgery date. Approximately mid May , end of May.
