I still have pain when I drink Water and this morning

I started to feel very sharp pain 3 in above my bellybutton this morning only when. I bend over

Do you think is something I should be concerns about and call my surgeon for it guys while I am far away from home??

I had to travel by plane yesterday for a little bit more than 10 and had to left my bag for weigh in you know then setting not that much comfortably at the plane for more that 7 hrs..

Have any of you experience something like this when you have to go through ruff day like I did yesterday two weeks after surgery??

I had my surgery on the 23rd of March and I am tired all the time. I try to get on the elliptical 2 mins at a time....

I had my surgery on 3-22-16. The first few days I was tired but then I started to get better. Now I'm 3weeks post-op and looking forward to getting back into the gym. I told my doc that I didn't want to rush back to work so I'm going back on 4-18 instead of the week after surgery.

I am not sure exactly, but my plan is to stay away from caffeine for as long as I can. I kicked the coffee habit pre-op and I would hate to start up again! Between coffee costs (in NYC a cup is like $2 bucks) and staining teeth =/ If anyone knows, it would be great info to have just in case the cravings come back!

Does anyone know when we can have coffee?

My NUT says 3 months, caffeine is really irritating to your stomach at first.

Do you know if that would be the same timeline for alcohol as well? I really miss my glass of wine once in a while and have yet to get a chance to ask my Dr. or NUT.

I think alcohol is three months out as well. Although mine recommend longer only so people don't transfer their food issues to alcohol issues, and the empty calories.

I had surgery 3/28/16 and have lost 31 lbs... but I've been at the same weight for the last 4 days. I know everyone says during week 3 you hit a stall, but it's still disheartening when all I have been on full liquids for three weeks.

My surgeon said I can have coffee the third day post op so I did and feeling great in the morning, it was the ONLY liquid I have no complains with what so ever ;)

They told me I could have Decaf right away, but never mentioned regular caffeine. I'm having awful coffee cravings, and decaf isn't cutting it. Lol.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
