As stupid as this sounds, this has become a serious issue for me. Anyone else have trouble shaving their armpits after breast augmentation? It's like there is a serious "pit" there now from my implants making my skin so tight. At first I thought oh it was just because I was being cautious (because I had brachioplasty at the same time), but I have tried time and time again, paid special attention and cannot get all of the hair from one side. I am two months post op and have full arm mobility, so I know that is not the issue. HELP!

I haven't had plastics, but since my weight loss, I've had the same problem. My armpit is like the Grand Canyon!

LOL

I also had brachioplasty and breast reduction at same time. But I cannot say the skin feels too tight, it just seems more of a dip than it was before....

Now - It is 6yrs on from that and it is like the razor etc cannot get in to the pit correctly

I found over time that I have to use one hand to flatten the skin and the other to shave it - Yet still in right armpit I tend to miss one area. I guess I am lucky that the brachioplasty only left a very small area to even shave (Kinda wish he had got this tiny section also in brachioplasty then there would be nothing left at all but hey ho)

O have tried electric and normal shaving tools - I am not keen on the idea of waxing... Sounds ouchy lol

So....... I guess we all hafta just find our own way through this testy issue, lol. And being almost 6yrs out - I have yet to find a way that makes it as easy as it once was to achieve.....

Good luck

I had the same problem. Luckily I have very little body hair, especially there so laser hair removal worked like a charm.

I have this same issue. I don't think it's from my implants so much as my weight loss. My arm pits are very "hollow" now and it is hard to get the razor down in there and get the skin flat enough to actually shave. I am seriously considering laser hair removal.

I am so glad it's not just me. The first couple times, I shaved like normal not thinking anything of it, then I would get out of the shower and be drying off....look in the mirror and be like what the hell, I just shaved. So then I payed special attention and STILL could not get it all. I guess I need to start looking into waxing or laser with summer coming :-)

What is the ballpark cost of laser hair removal?

definitely try cream hair remover, will do the trick before you can get laser removal.

No guidance on this, but haven;t thought about this being an issue with plastics or loss. Something new to think of the next time I shave.

Thats just right JamieLogical - It is too much of a hollow to shave effectively...

Laser hair removal is so far away from me I am not going to be able to do that so I just pull the skin a bit to flatten out the hollow and make it easier - Tho I always miss the same bit which annoys me sooooo much LOL

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
