Tried shrimp cocktail & got SO NAUSEOUS!

So, I haven't had any problems with any food I've tried in the last 7 weeks...except shrimp. I've traveled to hotels twice and ordered room service. I'm trying to keep it Protein first & thought that shrimp cocktail would be a good option--small quantity, protein. Well, I felt so nauseous after 2-3 shrimp. Tonight, a week later, I tried it again & was full after 1 1/2 shrimp---then, I thought I was going to barf. Terrible nausea. TERRIBLE!!! And I didn't bring my gas x strips!!! Found some pepto bismol & feeling a smidge better. I.will.never.eat.shrimp.again.

Has anyone else had an experience like this??

I can't tolerate anything spicy. Neither cocktail sauce, nor ginger sauce would stay in my stomach long.

I would suggest that you try shrimp grilled either plain or with just some lemon. Lemon always seems to settle nicely.

Worth a try if you love shrimp.

Good luck!
