Overwhelmed on what to stick my cabinets with

I am on my home stretch to get ready for surgery. It's getting overwhelming on what to stock up on. The more read the worse it is lol! I got so excited about vitamin patches, then my NUT said they don't absorb well through fat... So I finally got some celebrate vitamins. But what to stock up the cabinets with so I don't have to worry for the first few weeks. I'm wondering what was in your cupboard for food and what you actually ended up using the first few weeks?? Certain broths does it matter what kind? Since everything is sweet what all alternatives are there? Thanks in advance..

I ate watered down cream of soups (low fat). I also had beef and chicken bullion cubes that I used to make broth with. I used unflavored Protein in the broth and soup to add protein.

How much soup/broth did you have a day? Did you have any issues with dehydration because of the salt from these?

Immediately post op I would make 8oz of beef or chicken bullion at a time. I would pour it into a shot glass and sip one shot per 15 minutes. This way I could easily measure and track my intake. Early on I had to keep sipping as late as 10 or 11pm some days to meet my Fluid goals.

I watered the cream of Soup down and strained it as well. I purchased the low fat version and you can get low sodium as well.

I never had any issues with dehydration. I worked at it like it was my job.
