Waiting on insurance approval date will be within 3 weeks

Just had my last appointment with my surgeon. Now waiting on approval from UMR. My doctor said surgery should be within the next three weeks and then he explained to me the two week pre-op diet. I'm excited for my life to change but nervous of the pain. I hope this is worth it

    @@bsanders How long did it end up taking to get your approval letter from UMR? Did you have to go through the Optum services and case worker?

    @GrandoM74 actually it only took me about 2 weeks and I was approved.. My case worker at my surgeons office did everything for me.. UMR has paid for everything so far excluding my co-pays...

    I'm 6 weeks post op and what a total change it has been.. Good luck!!
