November 10th for Gastric Sleeve!

I started this journey back in August and can't believe it's already time for my surgery next week!

I've been on the pre-op full liquid diet for about a few days and it has been very difficult to resist temptation.

I'm supposed to be on the full liquids from nov3 till surgery date, so for seven days.

I had solid food the first day of the full liquids and felt so guilty. :(

I did better yesterday but I had quite the handful of crackers with my Soup at dinner.

I'm hoping the carb cravings will stop today. I weighed myself this morning and have gone from 257 to 254. Three pound down! I'm committed to stay motivated and stay away from temptations the rest of this journey. I don't want anything to stand in the way of my surgery next week!

Anyone else getting their gastric sleeve nov 10 next week? Share your journey with me!

Thanks :)

Glad everyone's surgery went well!! I'm feeling more like me today. The anesthesia took awhile to completely wear off. I had terrible nausea post op and pain while throwing up or dry heaving. Taking medications mostly orally now so I'm assuming I'm doing better. I haven't thrown up as much today and have been holding down the liquids.

I am having a similar issue today. Lots of nausea.

Hang I there!

Lap band failure...... Onto Gastric Sleeve journey. I have been to my information session, one support group, and to see the dietician. In a week & half I see the surgeon. Since I am a revision my insurance only requires a three month period of appointments with dietician and docs. I am looking forward to my sleeve being in February. Any of you have a slipped lap band then have a revision? I would like to know how your weight loss is going. I have heard a second surgery it is harder to lose weight.
