In 2009 I was banded at 255 pounds. I lost over 100 lbs but my band slipped in 2012, when removing it the doctor performed the sleeve. I have never felt the type of restriction with the sleeve as I did with the band. I went through a depressive time because of tough events in my life. I am now back over 200 lbs. with little to no restriction. I am trying to get back on track but it seems so hard. I want to ask my surgeon to go in and tighten things up, I feel like it would help and also be a mental restart to give me the focus, determination, and success I had with the band. I'm so embarrassed to even be back over 200 lbs that I haven't made an appointment to see him. Has anybody had a revision and if so how did you discuss it with your doctor?
