@@Orlando79c I had my surgery at Kaiser, I have platinum and the surgery itself (and hospital stay) was $50, although I also had to pay $500 for materials and about $200 in pre-op classes, lab co-pays and office visits. Best of luck to you!

I have Kaiser Nor Cal and my company doesn't offer Bariatric Surgery in our plans. I called Kaiser and asked if I could still qualify if my plan specified it didn't cover the surgery and they told me that as long as we qualify (40 BMI or higher, 35 or higher with co-morb.) then they would cover the surgery. So even if the plan states it doesn't cover the surgery, they still do if you qualify. It's really confusing. Call Member Services :)
