Hi everyone,
I just was wondering if it's possible to lose too much weight too fast.
I'm 5 days post op and I've lost 8 pounds since day of surgery.
Normally I would be super excited! And believe me I am! But I can take about 20oz of liquids a day and I'm trying to make as much of it protein as possible. According to my program papers I should be able to drink more than that. I try to get my sips in and I'm honestly doing better than where I started.
I guess my concern is, I don't want to lose all this weight so fast that I STILL end up unhealthy with malabosorbtion issues. I already feel weak at times and the room spins when I get up super fast. Sipping doesn't hurt but I fill really fast (obviously).
I just want to know if losing weight this fast is common. And if I should expect it to level out.
