Room temp is best. I'm day 3 post op and ice chips I suck on til water is warm before swallowing it. Cold can cause cramping.

I hear you! I'm day 3 and feel like I can get a little dizzy living off water and apple juice in the hospital. Protein will help a ton! I found some clear liquid protein drinks in Walmart that are safe for first week post op! I just don't have any with me in Mexico lol

I had a lapband slip after a year of torture I decided to revise to RNY! I'm day 3 post op and feel great. Still nervous for the future but down 3 lbs after surgery. 5'10 Lowest band weight 180 Revision surgery weight 238 3 days post op weight 235

That sounds pretty normal for loss considering you probably haven't eaten any real food or calories in a week. I'm on day 3 post op and down 3lb. But I also have a lot of bloating in my stomach. I'm in Mexico for surgery n all they give us is ice and apple juice, no protein. :/

If you are going by yourself bring an extension cord for your phone charger... I'm in the hospital now day 3 post op and it's nice to have phone by me.

Day 2 post op and feel pretty good! Only thing bothering me is my iv lol. Even after surgery and fluids I'm down 4 lbs

Hi! I had lapband to RNY yesterday! I'm 26 at 5'10 240lb. Your eye twitching is most likely due to you being tired, try to get some rest. Are you able to do any liquids or just clear?

Great job!! How tall are you? I just had surgery today lapband to RNY and weigh 240 at 5'10 so I'm curious how fast I will lose.

@@395Ron don't be too worried about after surgery!! I had surgery 12 hours ago and it was a revision so they had to pull out my lapband on top of doing RNY and I feel pretty great! I was terrified before surgery but valum they gave me helped lol. I came to hospital in Mexico by myself but there's tons of other patients here all walking the halls together and everyone feels pretty good, it's not so bad.

Surgery went well, just woke up. Sore from where lapband port was removed but otherwise good!

I had lapband at 18, going in for revision to RNY tomorrow at age 26! I did great on lapband until a slip last year

Hey girls! I'm in Vacaville! I have bcbs but I needed a revision from lapband to RNY... They wouldn't pass it since bmi is 33... I'm at the airport now heading to Mexico for surgery tomorrow morning!! Good luck!! How old are you ladies? I'm 26 and can't wait to re-start this weight loss!
