Glue or staples?

Can anyone tell me which is better for a doctor to use to close incisions , glue or Staples? The doctor that I'm thinking about using uses Staples. He says that Staples hold better. He takes the drain and the staples out after the third day.

I'm glad my surgeon used glue -- I don't have any scars -- but if he had wanted to use staples, that would have been fine with me. The most important thing to me was surgical skill and care.

Staples with dr Fernando Garcia and remove them day 3

Scotch tape and Elmer's glue. (OK. steri strips, surgical bond and bandaids.)

I had Steri strips and no drains. Healed beautifully.

I had the glue. I was great though for some reason I kept thinking I had stitches and was upset that I would have to go back to get them removed.

Duct tape fixes everything! :-P

Dermabond is the best actually
