Hi all! I will be post-op in less than 24 hours and wondered what the general consensus was on the temperature of your beverages? Intolerances with cold tepid warm or hot? Thanks ????

I did not have any intolerances to cold or hot and I was drinking both the day I got home. Best of luck to you!

Room temp is best. I'm day 3 post op and ice chips I suck on til water is warm before swallowing it. Cold can cause cramping.

Good luck with your surgery.

Cold temperatures mute flavor which is a good thing when it comes to protein shakes. I make mine in a blender with ice and frozen fruit added to the powder. They look like a Slurpee.

I drink both with no issues. I ended up with room temp liquids because it takes me a while to drink everything but I prefer cold or hot as intended!
