Feel like Im going at this alone

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else had there husband be ....well less than supportive. Heck he seems to be down right mad! He has almost broyght me to tears many times over my weight and now I'm going about it the wrong way after gaining another 45# on meds. I am doing this for my health and my kids. But it's scary enough going to Mexico alone....seems like I'll be alone when I get home too.

There are actually many who have the issue. I'm not sure if there is a married forum that might be able to unite you with others. You can also do a search on the forum and see if someone else has had this problem.

I'm sorry.

It's unfortunate that you husband is an asshole about it !

I did schedule mine ahead of my wife's because she was scare !

I did on 10/26 and she's going on 11/16, she's seeing what I'm going thru and is helping her.

He doesn't deserve you, but, put all behind, be strong, stay the course !!!

You can do it !!!!!!

Stay strong !!!!

Thank you I really appreciate that. Its funny I had quit smoking a month early and he was continuing to smoke like right in front of me and then I found out that my blood pressure was really high and my heart rate so I wanted to get cardiac clearance here in the United States. So I started smoking again and quit taking Chantix and my blood pressure went down to normal but my heart rate didn't so I'll find out on Tuesday if I am healthy enough for surgery and I'll have to reschedule for December or January and now that I bought a car last night. I've been really super bummed about starting smoking again and just my whole plan and getting thrown off I feel like I'm back in the same but I was in previously when he left me

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
