Florida banders?

Anyone know of a lapband dr that will do fills that didn't initially do the surgery? Someone closer to tampa/Wesley chapel area? My dr is completely disinterested in any of his patients ( I say any bc ive spoken to alot of his patients that say the same thing ) we come to our appts pay 350$ for a fill , he walks in 10 min. Does the fill and walks straight out of the room. No questions. No small talk no nothing. I want someone that motivates me. Helps me reach my goal. Or just talks to me!! Any reccomendations will be great!!

That's my dr. They have no support system at all for their pts.. the nurse is so ahhh whatever towards her pts which is not good. I call & ask a question and always get a ohh you'll be fine response. Do you have ins? They've never sched me for any follow up only call if you need anything.

I have not posted in a while, but I saw this post and thought I would chime in. Dr. Rhenke and his staff are great. I think keeping the followup appointments, even when I don't have any issues has helped keep me on track.

I am sorry you are having such a different experience than I am with that doctor and office.
Yea they're always brushing me off. He put me on a 2 week liquid diet. Emptied my band & didn't explain why or anything. I called in saying I felt really nauseous & light headed taking only 3 shakes a day & all I get is " that's the point, for you to be hungry, it's so you lose some weight." And "see you for your fill in a week"

I am sorry to hear that. I hope you find another office and doctor that is a better fit for you. As I mentioned, I have not had this experience with this doctor or office. I would be very frustrated if I had. I am pretty sure there are doctors who work out of Regional Medical Center Bayonet point. That may be more convenient for you.

There is my Doctor in Wesley Chapel/New Tampa and he is a sweetheart. He is Dr. Pandurangan Krishnaraj, MD Florida Surgical Weight Loss Centers
