Is anyone stalling again? I'm stalling at 167 pounds I've lost 48.4 pounds so far. I had my surgery on August 4th, I've stalled once in the 3 week stall, but I really want to lose 33 more pounds maximum!! Idk if I could do it in 5 months! Is it the way I'm eating? I eat everything but in small amounts some days healthy some days not. I still eat carbs, but still get my Protein in. I don't track calories but I have not gained any weight, and some days I eat nothing and other days I eat a pretty good amount.

So is anyone else stalling? And do you think it's possible to lose 33 more pounds in 5 months?

I understand your frustration. My pouch was in August 21, 2015, I was stalled for 6 wks

Scared me. I thought I had stretched my stomach. My doc had me do all shakes for 24 hrs. Then liquids for one day (chicken broth, scrabble eggs and Jello for that one day. Then shake ( at least a total of 90 grams of protein). Five pounds the first weeks

Now doing 5 small meals, no more than 1500 calories. After that first week, now back to 2 -4 lbs a week again

Water. Water water

Blessings and Good luck

Theresa from Delaware

I am at the same weight for 3 weeks, not one pound more. I haven't gone to the gym and have been eating a little bad so its totally my fault. We have to kick it up people and start exercising more!!!!! :-)[/quote

I was sleeved on August 21st 2015. Highest weight 349 current weight 260. I lost 89 pounds so far and I am very happy about it. My goal weight is 170. My question for the group is what are you guys eating now approaching 5 months post op. This is my day:

Breakfast:Premier Protein Shake

Lunch:2oz Fish/Chicken/Turkey Meatball with 1 ounces of vegetables

Dinner:Premier Protein shake

Snack:2oz Chicken/Tuna salad with 2 whole wheat crackers

Fluids: 67.6 ounces of Water (4-16.9oz water bottles from costco

Exercise: 60 min cardio 3-4X a week depending on the week

I haven't started strength training yet. Thinking about hiring a personal trainer when I hit around 230 pounds. Then the trainer can help me get to my 170 goal plus tone

we are almost exactly the same! I had surgery on August 27,2015--started at 348 and got down to 256 (although NYE put me back at 261) :( EXCEPT I haven't done too much exercise other than walking a couple times a week. Keep up the good work and congrats on all the weight loss!

np! I feel the same way sometimes!

Breakfast--6oz coffee with Protein Powder

Lunch--star creations (any flavor) and 3-4 Brussels sprouts in garlic butter

Snack-- pepperoni chips (1serving)

Dinner--any lean meat I make and about 1/2cup or less of veggies

Snack--another coffee with Protein powder or a Quest bar

Don't know if I'm taking the right approach, as my NUT is having chemo and has no replacement yet but I'm kinda doing a sort of Atkins/south beach diet thing. Bad part is... I beat myself up if I do "fall off track" and have some no-no carb, and I HATE that feeling of failure.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
