My husband is away and my eating is so much better!

I'm alone with my kids for a few days. I just tracked my calories for the day and i realize I am eating so much less without him around! Actually too low for today but I'll just add a protein snack later. I suffer from being influenced by other people's eating choices. This was an eye opener. Anyone else?

I have that issue also. I live away from everyone and alone, so that makes it easy to make the right choices. I really feel for people with families. I don't think I would have the will power.

It's a major concern for me. I'm 8 weeks out and doing fine but the struggle is real. I lost all my weight with the band living alone and gained it back living with my husband. I don't blame him. There were many reasons for the regain but it sure is easier living alone! The kids food doesn't tempt me.

@@Bndtoslv Great topic.
My husband loved an eating buddy and that's what we "used" to be.

Now I stick to my program. While we still eat out often as he loves to do, it is getting easier finding acceptable things to eat with out going off my plan. And the biggest surprise of all, he is actually making better choices for himself now.
